MBA Consulting Case Competitions

With my performance background I excelled at making presentations. This lead me to begin competing with our universities case competition team. Out of 50 applicants I was chosen to be one of the 10 students in the advanced strategy class, then the top 5 to represent my school at the JMSB International Case Competition (ICC) where I also acted as team captain. The ICC brought together 36 schools from 14 countries to compete in multiple cases, concluding with a live case for former Governor General Michaëlle Jean and the Energy Minister of Haiti to suggest an implementation plan for liberalizing the Haitian electric power system. I also competed at the Rotman Live Case Competition for Sunlife Financial and represented Canada at the Yale Integrated Leadership Case Competition.

FSU Circus Club President

While studying for my BA at Florida State, I joined the FSU Flying High Circus. I was not only a symbolic leader acting as ringmaster, but also the circus club president for the 2001-2002 academic year. As president I helped organize circus shows, group events, and attain funding from the university.

VP John Molson Graduate Student Association Speaker Series

At the JMSB SS we organized events with business leaders like Louis Vachon, CEO of Bank Nationale and Pierre Lepage, President of TELLUS Health. We were collectively responsible for organizing the event, marketing, hiring caterers, venue booking, and dealing with the Quebec government for alcohol permits (which very annoying).
